Tiger snake
(Notechis scutatus) is about 1.2 metres long. It’s colour varies from brown to black, with possible yellow bands. Though not common, it’s bite is poisonous and can be deadly if first aid is not done immediately. More at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_snake

White-lipped snake
(Drysdalia coronoides) is about 40 cm long. It is pale-green to grey coloured with a thin, white line that runs along the upper lip. It is venomus but feeds almost exclusively on skinks. It’s Australia's most cold-tolerant snake. More at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White-lipped_snake.
